How to Make Chocolate Pizza At Home

Chocolate pizza is quite unique combination of chocolate, cheese, flour, butter, milk and hazelnuts. It is not very difficult to make, however, its recipe is very different from conventional pizza making. If you are planning to make a chocolate pizza at your home, you can take help from the given steps.

– 1 pound homemade pizza dough, recipe follows, or purchased pizza dough
– 2 teaspoons butter, melted
– 1/4 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (recommended: Nutella)
– 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
– 2 tablespoons milk chocolate chips
– 2 tablespoons white chocolate chips
– 2 tablespoons chopped hazelnuts, toasted
– 1/2 cup warm water (105 to 110 degrees F)
– 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
– 2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for kneading
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 3 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for bowl

    First of all, you have to preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the oven rack on the bottom.

    Then, line in a large baking sheet with the parchment paper. After that, roll the dough out to a 9-inch round diameter.

    Now, you have to transfer the dough to the baking sheet. By the help of your fingers, you have to make indentations on the dough. Take butter and brush it on the dough. Afterwards, bake it until the crust become crispy and golden (you will have to bake it for around 20 minutes).

    Spread the chocolate-hazelnut over the pizza and after that, sprinkle the chocolate chip. Then, bake the pizza until the chocolate starts to melt for about 1 minute.

    Take the pizza out of the oven and sprinkle the hazelnuts on it. Cut it into pieces and serve.

    If you want make pizza dough too, you will have to mix the water (warm) and the yeast in a bowl. Then, mix the flour and salt in the food processor. Put some oil in the mixture and blend it until the dough is formed. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead it for around 1 minute so that it becomes smooth. You can use the dough right away or you can store it in the refrigerator for about one day.
