People are applying for jobs all the time and there is an interview taking place somewhere right now. When an organisation receives a resume, it is looked at carefully and a decision is made whether the candidate is suitable for the job.
Once a candidate is successful in getting shortlisted, he or she can be congratulated through an email. Remember to be as clear and concise as possible in this email so that the candidate has all of the information needed to reach the interview on time.
Start the email by thanking the candidate for applying to the job listing with the organisation. This will be a relatively brief paragraph.
In the next paragraph, let them know that they have been shortlisted for the post and be sure to give the date, time and venue at which they will be required to show up for the interview.
Conclude the email by letting the candidate know that they need to have their documents ready for the interview. Also, give them contact numbers and an email address in case of any queries.
