Every habit is good as long as it stays within limits. If you cross your limits, it can cause to trouble. It leads a person in to losing control over his or her desires and in return getting controlled by them. Addictions are never healthy as it shows that a person has gone to the extreme side of any habit. Addictions can be either conscious or unconscious depending on the person. Addictions cause various problems to your health, financial level, mental stability etc. Some minor addictions can be broken but there are others that are very difficult to overcome.

    Women usually have this addiction. They want to buy everything they set their eyes on, they just cannot control themselves. This is also obsessive compulsive disorder. The addiction is hardly noticed by the person suffering from it unless they become bankrupt and does not have any more money to spend.

    You would hear many mothers or housewives complaining about this. Children are usually addicted to television, they would sit on one couch all day and keep watching cartoons or some people have a habit of just flicking channels and sitting there glued to the screen.
