How to Bar Lace Etnies Shoes

Etnies shoes are known for their unique look and the comfort that they give to your feet while you are wearing them. A common style used to lace Etnies is bar lacing which is different from the criss-cross pattern normally used to lace shoes. Bar lacing uses up almost entire length of the shoe lace which means there will be on chance of a shoe lace getting tangled under your feet. Bar lacing is a simple technique if you know the right way. Here is how you can bar lace Etnies shoes easily.

    Face the Etnies shoe that you want to bar lace so that the toe of the shoe is pointed towards you. Feed one end of a shoe lace into the first eyelet on the right side of the shoe through the top side of the eyelet. Feed the other end of the shoe lace into the first eyelet on the left side of the shoe in the same manner. Make sure that the entire length of the shoe lace is divided into two equal halves.

    Push the right half of the shoe lace through the second eyelet on the right side of the shoe. Make sure you insert the shoe lace from under the second right hand eyelet. Pull out the same shoe lace, cross it to the second eyelet on the left side of the shoe and insert it through that eyelet from the top side.

    In the same manner, push the left half of the shoe lace through the third eyelet on the left side of the shoe from bottom to top since you have already used up the second eyelet, pull it out, cross it to the third eyelet on the right side of the shoe and insert it through that eyelet from the top side.

    Again grab hold of the shoe which is on your right side. Push it through the fourth eyelet on the right side of the shoe from bottom to top, cross it to the fourth eyelet on the left side of the shoe and push it through that eyelet from top to bottom.

    Similarly, grab of the lace which is on your left side, push it through from under the fifth eyelet on the left side, cross it to the fifth eyelet on the right side of the shoe and push it through that eyelet from top to bottom.

    Continue in the same manner until you are done with all the eyelets. Finally, tie the laces in a bow and you are done bar lacing an Etnies shoe.
