11 Ways to Get Rid of Frizzy Hair at Home

Managing dry, frizzy hair is hard as it is, not to mention when you have to get ready for a party or an event without having the luxury of spending hours tending to your lifeless locks. Even if you use a hair straightener, the effect only lasts a couple of hours, before your hair return to their original state.

Generally speaking, frizzy hair result from lack of sebum, a natural moisturizing oil produced in the roots of your hair. Without sebum, your hair follicles dry up, and while this is often a genetic condition, there are other factors involved as well, including weather, humidity, hair products and prolonged exposure to sunlight.

If your frizzy hair is due to genetic factors, there is little you can do for a permanent solution. However, there are several home remedies and treatments that can make your hair much more manageable, and we have listed them below for you.
