How To Get Scaffolding Licence In London

Scaffolding is a wooden arrangement or framework which is made to give workmen a platform to do their jobs, including construction works, paint etc. It is common for London’s construction companies to first raise scaffoldings and then these scaffoldings are used as platforms by their repair and construction men to do their (construction / repairing) work of high buildings or hoardings etc. All these companies need to obtain a license issued by the local council before the scaffolding work is started. The criteria to issue a licence varies from council to council, however, a significant concern is shown by all councils in ensuring that the construction of scaffolding will not hamper pedestrian movement or won’t pose a threat to anybody’s life, liberty or safety.

Also, an application fee is also charged which varies from council to council.
