Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Take a large mixing bowl and combine: salt, flour and baking soda. Sprinkle half of the nutmeg and cinnamon and put in the softened butter. Keep mixing until all the ingredients are thoroughly blended. Add in 1 cup of white sugar and all of the brown sugar, the remaining sugar will be used later. Add the eggs one by one and beat the mixture until fully blended.
In another bowl, add the remaining nutmeg and cinnamon. Also put in the left over white sugar in the same bowl. Form balls, 1 inch in size from the prepared dough. You can easily take a little dough in your hand and form balls. Roll the prepared balls in the bowl with cinnamon mixture. The balls should be coated well so that the taste of the cinnamon is strong.
Prepare baking sheets by greasing them with oil so that the biscuits do not stick to the sheet. Put the cookie dough balls on the baking sheet and make sure to keep a space of 1 inch between them. With the help of a glass, flatten the dough slightly. You can do this by using the bottom of a glass and applying pressure.
Bake the cookies in the preheated and bake them for 8 to 10 minutes. They should be slightly browned when they are done. Remove the sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool down before serving them.
