Applying for Qatar Tourist Visit Visa from Paris

    Requirements

    Applicants need to provide following documents (2 photocopies of each document):

    a) Give a passport with minimum 6 months validity from the return date.

    b) Copy of passport.

    c) Visa application form of Qatar should be written clearly (can also be typed).

    d) Non-nationals of France should provide a six month valid residence permit.

    e) Provide fresh passport size photos with grey background.

    f) Provide return ticket.

    g) Provide recent three months bank statement and also give previous three payslips.

    h) Provide confirm hotel reservation or accommodation certificate showing the name and surname of the receiving person along with his or her employer’s telephone number, address, certificate and a photocopy of receiver’s Doha residence permit in Qatar.

    Visa Fee

    The tourist visa fee of Qatar is 25 Euros and it should be payed through cheque. To verify the visa fee contact Embassy of Qatar in Paris.

    Mode of Payment

    Visa fee is payable by cheques, which should be made payable to the Consulate of Qatar. Visa fee is not accepted in form of cash.

    Note: Visa fee is not refund if the application for tourist visa gets refused.

    Check List

    It is utmost important for all applicants to re-check and provide two copies of all the documents mentioned in Step 1 before submission, so they wouldn’t a negative response from the Embassy.

    a) Verify the validity of your passport.

    b) Make sure that your visa form is either typed neatly or written clearly.

    c) Non-nationals must reconfirm that they have provided a valid residence permit of France.

    d) Re-check that photos you have provided are recent and meets the criteria of embassy.

    e) Don’t forget to provide return ticket.

    f) Count the number your bank statement and payslips once again.

    g) Ensure that you have included a confirm hotel reservation or accommodation certificate showing the name and surname of the receiving person along with his or her employer’s telephone number, address, certificate and a photocopy of receiver’s Doha residence permit in Qatar.

    h) Aside from that it’s better to go abroad with a travel insurance plan that covers your health and luggage.

    i) Keeping a reputed guide book of the country you are visiting always remains helpful.

    Submission

    Applicants can submit their applications by mail, but it must be accompanied by a stamped envelope (DHL, mail, Chronopost, etc...) so the Embassy can return their documents otherwise there will be no return by mail.     Processing Time

    The processing time required for a visa request takes nearly 7 working days.

    Collect Visa

    Applicants can collect their visas once it is granted to them, every day from Monday to Friday between 14:30 and 15:30. Those, who have sent their documents by the aforementioned courier service along with a stamped envelope, will get their visas by the same postal service.     Things Tourists are Allowed to Carry with Them

    a) Tourists are allowed to carry items like tooth paste, shampoos and perfumes.

    b) Medicines in reasonable amount are also allowed to carry.

    c) Different denominations like cash, credit or debit cards are authorized to carry.

    d) Apart from the above mentioned things, tourists are allowed to bring their regular luggage with them.
