How to Clean Earrings Rubbing Alcohol

Nowadays, imitation jewellery is commonly used by women in different parts of the world. Imitation jewellery also contains earrings made up of different types of metals.  Such types of earrings look beautiful and are also cheap in price. Therefore, women now prefer them over expensive ones made up of gold or silver etc. However, there are also some disadvantages associated with such type of earrings. They can cause infections if not sterilize properly. If you want to avoid any infections to be triggered from your pierced ears, then it is really important to clean your earnings on a regular basis.

There are different ways by which you can sterilise the earrings that you wear. You can soak the earrings in the rubbing alcohol, which is the best way to clean them and make them clear of germs and other bacteria. Using rubbing alcohol to clear the earrings from the contamination is the easiest way, as it does not require much effort, and you only need to soak and rub the earrings. In addition to that, it is safe to use rubbing alcohol, as it is does not affect most metals. Moreover, rubbing alcohol will not damage the shine and structure of the earrings. Therefore, you should also try using rubbing alcohol, rather than any other sterilising agent, when you plan to clean your earrings.

    Take a small bowl and fill it with rubbing alcohol. Put the earrings in the bowl and allow them to soak for at least one hour. It will kill any germs and bacteria present in the earrings.

    Now, take a nail brush or an old tooth brush and dip it in the rubbing alcohol. Use the brush to rub the earrings gently. Make sure you cover all the areas, including the earring posts and decorations. It is really important to clean gemstones or beads planted on the earrings, as it will enhance the overall look of the jewellery.

    Rinse the earrings well using clean water. Make sure you clear the alcohol from the surface of the earrings. Then place them on a dry towel and allow them to dry. You can also pat the earrings on the towel, which will make it quick for the earrings to get dry. Your earrings are now clean and can be worn again.
