white crème de menthe: 30 ml / 1 oz
dark crème de cacao: 30 ml / 1 oz
half-and-half: 60 ml / 2 oz

To start preparing the peppermint patty martini, grab a cocktail shaker and add in one cup of ice cubes or crushed ice.

  • 2

Next, pour 30 ml of vodka, 30 ml of white crème de menthe, 30 ml of dark crème de cacao and 60 ml of half-and-half into the cocktail shaker loaded with ice.

  • 3

Now, screw the lid of the cocktail shaker on tightly, to prevent the drink from splashing out, and give it a couple of vigorous shakes, in order to make sure all the ingredients have blended together thoroughly.

Then, hold a strainer over the martini glasses, and pour the peppermint patty martini into these – make sure no shards of ice make their way into your martini.

As a final touch, garnish the glasses by hanging mini candy canes from the rims. Serve straight up and chilled.
