    Requirements


    See the list of countries whose nationals require visa to enter in Cyprus.


    Provide a passport or travel document of your country that is recognised by the Republic of Cyprus.


    Passport should be valid for minimum three months after departure of applicant from the territory of the Republic of Cyprus. It should also have at least one free visa-page.


    United Kingdom residents should provide a valid (minimum 3 months after departure from the territory of the Republic of Cyprus) permit of residence.


    One completed and duly signed visa application form


    One recent photograph endorsed on passport.


    Applicants below 18 years require an approval of either both parents or legal guardians. Also provide a copy of each parent’s/guardian’s passport along with the birth certificate of the child which should show names of the parents.


    Provide proof that the applicant has enough funds to cover the expenses of the proposed trip (full bank statement, which should include the applicants address).


    Provide a fresh original letter from employer, which should be stating beginning date, with last payslip. In case of self-employed a letter is required from applicant’s solicitor, accountant or bank manager.


    If the applicant is a student, submit a fresh original letter from school, college or university, which should be confirming attendance.


    If the applicant is unemployed then bring in their social benefit booklet. Whereas, retired personals should bring their pension book.


    Provide travel itinerary.


    Provide proof of confirm booking for accommodation in the Republic of Cyprus. In case of owning a property in the Republic of Cyprus, provide evidence.


    If the applicant has an intention to stay with a friend or relative then, he or she must submit a completed Assumption of Responsibility form. This form must be completed by the Cypriot national or resident of Cyprus hosting the applicant. This form should be signed before a Certifying Officer of the Republic of Cyprus and endorsed accordingly.


    Note: The Cyprus Consulate reserves the right to ask for additional documentation in support of the Assumption of Responsibility.

    Visa Fee


    Visa fee for a single entry is £10.25 in British pound. Visa handling fees will be charged on all applications handed in the Consulate General, no matter what the outcome would be. NO visa fee will be received from the spouse and children below 18 years of age of a European Union national. Therefore, an evidence of the relationship should be submitted with each request .i.e.


    a. Original marriage or original birth certificate showing the name of the parents, with authorized translation in English.


    b. Spouse’s or parents’ original passport.

    Mode of Payment

    Check List


    Verify that you ahve provided a valid passport or travel document.


    Check that validity of your passport shouldn't be less than three months from the intended date of your departure from the Republic of Cyprus along with one free visa-page.


    Non UK nationals should make sure that they have provided a 3 month vaild permit of residence.


    Your visa form should be fully completed and duly signed.


    Don't foget to provide 1 recent photograph endorsed on passport.


    Applicants under 18 years of age should not forget to provide an approval of either both parents or legal guardians and copies of each parent’s/guardian’s passport together his oer her birth certificate which should specify names of the parents.


    Applicant must also check that he or she had attached the proof sufficient funds to cover the trip.


    Original letter from employer is also required therefore, applicant shouldn't miss it. Self-employed applicants should not miss the letter from their solicitor, accountant or bank manager.


    Student applicants should not miss to submit a fresh original letter from school, college or university, showing their attendance.

    Submission


    All applications should be submitted minimum five working days before the proposed date of travel. All applicants must visit in person the Consulate General of the Republic of Cyprus in London to submit their applications. Those who do not live in London, it is also possible to visit in person one of the Honorary Consulates of the Republic of Cyprus in the Great Britain. Postal applications are NOT ACCEPTED.

    Things Tourists are Allowed to Carry with Them


    Travellers to Cyprus are allowed to carry items like sunscreen, medicines, toiliteries, cameras, portable video or audio player, seasonal clothing and luggage that should not weight more than the limit mentioned by the airport or airline authorities for each person.
