Choose surface and buy paint
The first step is to choose the area that you will be painting your mural on. You want to check how the surface of that area is, and whether you are going to need to change it in order to get the mural up on it.
While choosing the surface, you also need to select the paint that you will be using. There are a number of glow in the dark paints that are available, so you need to pick the one that is better suited for the wall in the room you are going to be painting.
The next step is to initiate the painting process. You can do this by cleaning the wall at first, using any cleaner you find around the house. You need to get rid of all the dirt and dust, so that the paint can stick to the wall better.
Next you want to lay out some protective sheeting on the floors, to prevent any paint from falling on them. This is rather easy, and can be done using old news paper.
You also want to now apply a primer coat on the wall, in order for your glow in the dark paint to pop up, when applied to the wall.
Sketch mural and paint
Once all of this is done, you need to go on and sketch the outlines of the mural on the wall. Use a charcoal to do so, and make sure you space it while keeping the colors in mind.
Once you have done that, all you have to do is grab your brushes and paints, and stroke inside the outlines of your sketch.
