    First of all, you need to get the paint and the other required equipment. The cheeks can be painted even with fingers, but it is better to have a special brush. The colour of the paint depends entirely on what you are painting. Make a decision about your design and then buy paint accordingly.

    There are several kinds of paints available in the market. Make sure the paint you are buying is safe for sensitive skin. Remember, Acrylics and tempera paints are not made for human skin.

    Draw a large image on a piece of paper before starting to paint your face. This will be helpful to a great deal. While painting, you can have a look at the image and take guidance.
